Every protocol. One coach.

Zone 2, Norwegian 4x4, 12-3-30, Tabata, Wim Hof — five named, research-backed training protocols in one app, each coached in real time against your actual heart rate instead of a countdown that doesn't know how hard you're working.

Why Cardio Protocol

A coach, not just a timer

Five protocols, one app

Whichever one you searched for — Zone 2, the Norwegian 4x4, 12-3-30, Tabata, or Wim Hof breathing — it's already here, explained properly before you start.

Real-time voice coaching

"Above zone, ease off." "In zone." "Below zone, push." Cardio Protocol watches your live heart rate against the protocol's target and tells you, out loud, when to adjust — not just when the clock runs out.

A real Apple Watch app

Start and stop a session right from your wrist, with your current phase, zone status, and live heart rate on the watch face — plus your iPhone's Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.

History that explains itself

Every session breaks down into time-in-zone, a heart rate trend chart, and a per-phase view — not just a duration and a checkmark.

Why not a generic interval timer

Timers count down. This one coaches.

Most interval timers are a blank stopwatch — set a number, get a beep. The apps built around one specific protocol (a 4x4 timer, a Zone 2 tracker) are better, but each only covers the one trend it was named for, and none of them adjust to how your body is actually responding in the moment. Cardio Protocol combines the protocols people are already searching for by name with real-time coaching keyed to your live heart rate deviating from the target zone — so the app is doing more than counting seconds, it's telling you whether what you're doing right now is working.
